YouTube Content ID https://karharimedia.com/youtube-content-id/ https://karharimedia.com/youtube-content-id/#respond Sat, 21 Jun 2025 02:47:39 +0000 https://karharimedia.com/?p=8920 PART 1: What is YouTube Content ID and How It Works

YouTube Content ID is YouTube’s automated system designed to help copyright owners identify and manage their content on the platform. It works by scanning all uploaded videos for copyrighted material (audio, video, visuals) and matches them against a database of files provided by content owners.

✅ How It Works:

  • Rights holders upload their copyrighted content (audio or video) into the Content ID system.

  • YouTube creates digital fingerprints of these files.

1. Revenue Update Timeline

We update the streaming data and revenue reports for your account every 60 days inside your client dashboard. These analytics include earnings from all partnered digital service providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and others.

2. Payment Schedule

First Payment Cycle (Initial 90 Days)

If you distribute your songs via Karhari Media Music between 1st January and 30th January, you will receive your first payment by end of April. This is because:

  • All digital music stores deliver final sales reports and revenue payouts with a delay of 2 to 3 months.

  • Some DSPs take up to 90 days or more to report and pay.

  • Therefore, first-time users of Karhari Media Music will always receive their first payout after 90 days from the end of the sale month.

Ongoing Monthly Payments (Every 30 Days)

Once your first payment is processed after the initial 90 days, all future payments will be made to you every 30 days, based on the updated earnings shown in your dashboard.

For example:

  • You released music in January → payment in April.

  • You released music in February → payment in May.

  • And so on…

3. Payment Methods

We support both domestic and international payouts, depending on your location and agreement:

  • Local Bank Transfers (India and selected countries)
